Well folks, The Dead Idols are, well...DEAD! We are very flattered that people still want to be our (Myspace) friends, even more flattered that booking agents want us to play their shows, and astonsished that we are still asked to contribute songs to compilation records. The fact of the matter is The Dead Idols played their last show in July of '06. It was one hell of a run, and our livers will be forever scarred from the tours, but it's over. WHERE ARE THEY NOW you ask? Check it out...SIMON is in graduate school. Yes, graduate school (no, we aren't the Descendents). He is starting up a country influenced trio, look him up if you play drums or bass. CARLOS (only our most hardcore fans will remember him) is currently...we don't know what he is doing. We haven't spoken since we parted ways. HIROSHI is in 62 differen't bands at last count. I think he is presently in Europe on tour with one of them. He is playing drums in Inazuma also. I saw them and they fucking kicked ass. BRADY...I haven't talked to Brady in a while. He was in Frisky Jones, then moved to NYC. I talked to him shortly after he moved back, but haven't spoken to him since. I am sure he is in a kick ass band...it's hard to go wrong when you look like Duff McKagan. DAVE is still a flick knife wielding street tough (you can take the boy out of Newcastle, but you cant the New...blah blah blah). He is still dealing out Thin Lizzy style Les Paul solos in his new band SADDLE TRASH, and wrenching on his late 70's Shovelhead. JOHNNY was in Blare Bitch Project until their breakup in 2006. A great friend of the band to this day, Johnny can be found at a skate park or bar near you. WILLY was convicted and sent to state prison on charges we wont put in print. He is still smokin' and drinkin. Conditions of his parole stated that he couldn't play drums anymore. He is currently playing bass in SADDLE TRASH with Dave, and probably drunk, riding his Road King and listening to The Stones...
