Rising from small town suburbia with a fire in their eyes, a secret stash of catchy pop songs and a work ethic that would finish their counterparts, Cambridgeshire's The Deadlines are quickly creeping into the public conscience with progression which can only be described as “frightening”.
Originally formed in the summer of 2006 as a piano driven 4-piece, the band soon stripped down to a guitar laden trio and quickly discovered their own distinguishable and anthemic sound. Whilst first single Talking Adult was a strong indication of where the band was heading, second single Just About To Break, released in December 2006, shows the true speed and quality with which this band is writing, building and developing their own unique musical language. With a strong belief that a song should be felt as well as heard, Just About To Break is a prime example of their uncanny ability to excite an audience, with a fair dosage of humour and, dare we say it, romance, thrown in for good measure. Drawing on an eclectic mix of influences, from Costello to The Wildhearts, Aerosmith to OK Go, the Manics to Ben Folds, The Deadlines have created their own soundscape akin to those of Feeder, Stereophonics and Supergrass.
Having spent the second half of 2006 building up a strong live set and gigging across London and Cambridgeshire, including a recent support with the acclaimed Spider Simpson, The Deadlines' catchy pop anthems, big sound and knack of pulling an emotional sucker punch is winning them admirers across the country.
Utterly infectious and with a master plan for world domination, the trio aim to launch off from the base they have built in 2006 and explode onto the British music scene in 2007, with more touring, festival appearances and their debut album. In short, The Deadlines are three 20-something guys playing the biggest songs you will hear tomorrow.

You can now download our tracks off i tunes , just go to i tunes and search for The 925s.
Also we are going out to holland on the 14th and 15th of april to play somes gigs and record some new tracks. It would be nice to see some of you out there.
