Through the music of The Dead Peasants Revolt, we are fighting social injustice in all of its forms. We dream of a world free of racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, nationalism and species-ism. Though as a band we have differences in our personal politics, we have found a common ground to fight the good fight. Diversity in opinion and tactics is healthy and constructive in creating meaningful solutions. This band is not only for fun and being creative, but also a mouth piece for a voice of dissent, love, support, strength and community. We would like to share our ideas with others... communication is vital! Capitalism has failed us and is destroying our world, it is time for a new approach. There are many paths, and we want to share these new potential alternatives with the rest of our sisters and brothers. So rise up, sing along, dance your dances of freedom and remember... the road to a friend's house is never far, and we are right around the corner!!
