Sounds Like
-"...irresistable, sinewy slices of garage pop, just too damn fun not to leave on repeat." - VENUE
-"...the spirit of youth yanking on the chains of the shackled ghost of music past... volatile, searing rock-n-roll, twisted around dysfunctional guitar riffs and adrenaline screams... fractious chords delivered via bloodstained fretboards." - MANCHESTER MUSIC
-"...energetic, charismatic and exactly as polished as they should be for the raucous punk-pop music they're giving us. All grungey anti-style and glossily packaged teen rebellion." - DECODE
-"...50s surf twang, raw Terrorvision vocals and raucous Hives-esque rampaging guitars. This is the kind of thing that hyped up kids on smarties can go crazy to, The Dead School have clearly been paying attention from the start and have immediately hit the ground running." - GIITTV 'zine
-"...Twisting garage rock with a surf twist. For a three piece the racket is overwhelming. Supped up guitars, primal skin beating and larynx shredding vocals all collide into a mess of fiery punk whilst the bass lines slip in between bouncy exuberance and droney nonchalance." - SPOON OF MUSIC
We thank you so much for the add!.. We’re just a small band, but we’d be delighted if you listened to our Garage Rock songs and you sent us any kind of comment!! If u couldn’t we’ll be happy if you just let this comment be shown, so that ur fans can get to know us. ☠

A new night of heavy live sounds and DJs to match in a new venue as dark and loud as necessary.

MONOTONIX Saturday 28th November Nice n Sleazys, Glasgow
The release of their new album tops off a whirlwind year of touring, the infamy surrounding their charged live perfomances steadily mounting. Rightly so, check out this youtube link- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmEHu-QAgNE&feature=related - and marvel at one of the typically unpredictable gigs of the band that Spin have declared the "most exciting live band in rock'n'roll."

KING KHAN AND THE SHRINES Sun 4th Oct @ Stereo, Glasgow
Support comes from Jack of Hearts Skinflints Uncle Big Bad
"Fusing the driving stomps of classic sixties soul with the muddy yet crunchy guitars and puerile words of garage rock, King Khan & The Shrines are one of those uncommon groups who seem to live in the past and still make an attention-grabbing noise. The Supreme Genius is a retrospective of their work this century from initial 45s through to the cleaner more sophisticated efforts of their last proper album, What Is?!. Soul is certainly a key ingredient in the Shrine's psychedelic stew, though purists would balk at describing the end product as one of their own ('filthy racket' being the likely response). Fans of the 'rock 'n' soul' pedigree stretching from the Kingsmen to The Make Up and The Black Lips, however, should be more accepting, as will anyone who likes their music loud and raucous" BBC Music

Times New Viking "Rambunctious to new standards of blessed impenetrability, Ohio trio Times New Viking’s simple-on-paper M.O. is to take the sweetest of super-sweet pop music, indiefied though it is, and strip it of its outer layers of glitz and gloss. The result is music that crackles and fuzzes, screams and roars; it’s an X-Factor audition in a spin-dryer, potential sing-alongs rendered riotously raw through purposeful deconstruction."
