Johnny Calderone has been singing all of his life. His Father was a Charro/Mariachi (Mexican Cowboy/Guitarist Singer), so music was always in his life. He started writing poetry in High School, as he was influenced by Morrissey, Martin L. Gore and Robert Smith. His abstract view on life and love are shown in the Deephearted's lyrics. This is his first time being involved with a band.
Ollie Palma has been playing music since he was a younger lad as he was influenced by bands like the Cure, Depeche Mode, New Order and The Smiths (to name a few). He has been involved in the music scene in the San Francisco area in one way or another for years and has played in other local bands. Songcraft and melody have always been his passion.
Jeff Howard was studying design in New York when he picked up his first guitar. In his first band he was surrounded by kindred spirits who taught him, above all, to trust his musical instincts. Listening to the same bands that Ollie was into 3000 miles away, Jeff started writing music on borrowed gear. His transition from guitars to electronics is perfectly logical, given his influences.
The Deephearted was formed in February 2007. We make the music we want to hear - the type of music that brings out emotion, memories, and in some cases makes you want to get out of your seat and move.

My 14 of july was great ! I was in La Baule, and the firework : a wonder there. We were apparently 40 000 personns on the coast ( 5 miles of longer). Wow !
take care of yourself, and it is always a pleasure to see your page and to listen your songs:)
Thanks!!! Fuck guys I wish I knew ahead of time you were playing tonight... Cervello Electronico is fucking awesome! If only we could make it down there in time. :( Have a great show guys!
Hey! Thanks for adding me. I'm glad you enjoyed my music and the video. And I see we've been working with the same photographer! :) I don't know if I'm going to be doing a lot of live shows (aside from maybe solo acoustic gigs) because Deathline Int'l keeps me pretty busy, but I'd be open to playing together sometime if it works out!
