Delayed [di-leyd], adjective - Not as far along as normal in development or progression.
Green [green], adjective - Brand new, fresh. A symbol for forward movement.
Seeking to bring strains of familiarity into a new and different light, The Delayed Green combines melody and rhythm into an almost epic experience. Intense rhythmic presence, well-tuned hooks and a moody disposition reverberate in your mind well after the song is complete.
Taking inspiration from all aspects of life, art and music, The Delayed Green strives to be both accessible and fresh to every ear, by capturing the creative, tantalizing the technical and entertaining the everyman. Drawing inspiration from the likes of New Order, Catherine Wheel, Radiohead and U2 , the Delayed Green strives to regain those emotional bridges and empathetic connections that seem to have been pushed aside by the shallow and superficial.
Originally from New York, front man of The Delayed Green Jae Ralph moved to Orlando in 2004, in search of new musical outlets for his creativity. After performing with many groups including Blind Identity until 2004 and Kissing Karma until 2007, Jae decided to forsake the familiar in favor of something different and more challenging. After more than 20 years of guitar stylings of the electric variety, Jae put aside the big tone and effects to concentrate more on strong, substantial songwriting and less on volume and flare. He took a short hiatus from bandmates and bar gigs and spent several months doing solo gigs, reinventing himself and improving his songwriting. After playing multiple solo gigs and open mics all over the Orlando and surrounding area, Jae realized it was now time to share his vision with other musicians…..enter The Delayed Green.
The Delayed Green consists of Jae Ralph (Lead Vocals, Guitars) Stephy B (Keys), Kenny Harrelson (Bass) and Dean Andrews (Drums). The Delayed Green is looking forward to continuing to push the envelope of modern music and live performance now and in the near future.

Yeah, when I got home I looked up some recent pics of him and it was clear that he wasn't Mitch Mitchell. It was even more obvious when I saw that he had died. That was funny though. You are right...there are some crazies up there.
hey guys. yeah, can't wait for the show at the haven. We would love to trade some shows with you. we will have to talk when we get up there on the 18th.
Awesome show on Saturday guys! Mad guitar skills Jae, I don't know how you don't have a giant Popeye arm. I played the ukulele in grade school, so if you wanna jam let me know.
