Sounds Like
A mix of Punk and Stoner Rock. Very similar to Queens of the Stone Age, but drawing more from bands like Sabbath, creating a heavier sound. Also incorportates elements of grunge, hard rock and arab scales. If you like our top few influences. there's a good chance you won't throw up listening to us.
The Motivators were founded in the summer of 2007 by Eli Ben-Yaacov (guitar and vocals) and Daniel Stackman (drums and shouting), after numerous lineup changes, a bear cub named Jacob Kotler was left on the doorstep of their practice space. They taught him to play bass and shout "Hey!", and he became their new third member.
The Motivators play hard heavy rock with blues, middle eastern, glam, surf, punk, and metal influences.
