Presenting..... THE DIAMOND DOLLS!!!!
Kindly introducing
Miss Sugar Puss
Madame Trolley Dolley
Miss Midnite Delite
Together we are three luscious ladies giving a modern twist to our much cherished and admired burlesque! Picture lots of shiny costumes, sparkley tassel twirling and super red lipstick! Never leaving behind our commanding stage presence and some light-hearted comic relief!
We do lots of different routines- solos, duets and triplets!
We are Parisian Femmes donned in pink and red feathers one moment, then Asian princesses the next who dance to the theme song of... well i shant tell you as it would spoil the surprise...but we do pull fortune cookies from precarious places...
We have danced at numerous bars and venues about Melbourne, including The Toff in Town, The Order of Melbourne, The Spanish Club, the Prince of Wales, The Glasshouse and many more. We have posed at Melbourne Dr. Sketchy's, frolicked in gardens, taken in rooftops and danced to marching bands...We always look for more, so surprise us!
We have supported lots of bands about the traps, do our own shows at Eurotrash Bar, and we have even danced at a wedding!...
So break out that banana lounge, lie back with a luscious pina colada, and indulge in the sights and spectacle of The Diamond Dolls!
Heroes
Sarah Lea Cheesecake!, burlesque babes, Josephine Baker, Kate Bush and tomato pasta!

Come and frolic in a night filled with entertainment, food and good times. At the start of the evening you will nibble canapes and platters with a complimentary Burlesque Bubbly on arrival, while the Jazz Band sets the Roaring Twenties vibe. There are 15 Beyond Burlesque and Twenties shows throughout the night, between the shows Dashing DJs will play to the theme and later let loose. Where? The Royal Melbourne Hotel, which is one of the few venues granted with a late party licence, for New Year's Eve, because it's a respectable venue. It's also one of Melbourne's Great Historic Venues (Heritage Listed) and best kept secrets.
Location: Royal Melbourne Hotel, 629 Bourke Street Melbourne 3000, Phone (03) 9629 2400.
Time and date: Thursday 31st December 2009. Starts 8pm ends Late.
Your MC for the evening is Master Sarah Moanies. She hosted the first ever House of Burlesque NYE 5 years ago and the Host with the Most is back. Master Sarah Moanies is so good she could handle if all the other acts were locked up NYE, don't worry as she would bail them out. Welcome back - Master Sarah Moanies.
Once again I have a favour to ask of everyone out there in the MySpace world, and I’m sorry because I know these things can get a bit annoying, but every vote counts, and I am happy to return the favour if you need me to vote or rate anything of yours, so… if you get the chance could you please rate my new song “Million Miles Away” on Triple J Unearthed?
Hey The Diamond Dolls, We've finally made the journey back across to Melbourne, this time to launch our brand new album "13 to Life" . This will all happen this Friday night 14th August 8pm at the Ding Dong Lounge in the city with Son's of Lee Marvin, The Bad Kills and Australian Kingswood Factory. Would be awesome if you'd come along and help us make it a crazy night! Cheers Bone Rattlers
If you get a chance you should check out my tunes and let me know what you think!
If you do like my songs then feel free to help me out by clicking on this link and rating my song "Heroes of Today" or my newest one, not yet on MySpace, “Hopelessly Hoping for Hope”
