Riverview Church in Holt, MI has TONS of worship bands. This is because they know that God desires us to use our creativity to give Him glory and also to make cool music that will help lead people into his presence.
The Difficulty was created by Sean, Jeremy, Chaz, and Mark in an attempt to create a more "indie rock" sounding worship band. This includes more aggressive style and arrangements ranging from the four piece band sound, to the electronic/ambient sound.
At first they started by simply rearranging and rethinking some of the songs already in the rotation at Riverview, but have begun writing their own music as well.
Recently, The Difficulty has both suffered and enjoyed some member changes. Suffered in that it's a bummer that Chaz and Mark are no longer playing with us they were good friends and solid musicians, but enjoyed because Joel and Kevin are also cool dudes and solid musicians.
Why do they need a myspace? Well ... why does anyone need a myspace? Yeah ... who knows. (pretending to be too cool for myspace makes you cool right? Right.)
