I am Dutch. I run and host the The Digital Blast.com - a site where I blog and podcast about technology.
What is a Podcast you ask? Podcasts are essentially homemade radio programs that people make and then distribute over the Internet.You can download and listen to them on your PC, iPod or a similar portable audio player. So the term podcasting combines "iPod" (it was the first portable music device afterall) and "-casting," as in broadcasting.
I think the well known BBC reporter Peter Day said it best when he commented in a recent broadcast "...something remarkable is happening here, radio is springing free of the regulated gatekeepers who've managed what you can hear since radio was invented. It's jumping into the hands of anyone at all with something or nothing to say".

A little bit about me. In my day job I get to work on next generation soldier equipment for the military.That has allowed me to interact with state, federal and military officials and participate in media events for local and national television, radio and the internet.
So what does that mean? I've had the oppurtunity to work in the gaming industry to provide input and review what soldiers in games should look like, how they perform, and what kind of situations they will be facing in the future. I've been a technical advisor on movie shoots about soldiers and our Army. My latest project is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter by Ubisoft and America's Army.
I've published articles that discuss the future of technology. I've had the chance to attend the coolest tech/gaming shows out there. I host and produce the Digital Blast Podcast. Heck, I even emcee booths at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in LA!
As anyone who knows me will tell you, my ultimate goal is to be the superhero of technology (a technology whisperer if you will). My hope is that not only will the Digital Blast.com and the Digital Blast Podcast become a source of information but also provide you a little entertainment and the occasional laugh or two!
