Romeo Candido // Creative Director newsAng Pamana: The Inheritance had it's world premiere at the Hawaii International Film Festival. Many thanks to Christian Razukas, the ever dapper and gentlemanly programmer and host with the most of HIFF. Then Romeo Candido and Caroline Mangosing (director and producer/actor resp.) flew out to Van City, Caroline's home town to see the film close the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. After that Romeo went back to Manila while Caroline went to LA to check out the scene at the American Film Market in Santa Monica. Then it was back to Manila to prepare for the November release of the film in theatres all over the Philippine Islands. The cast was complete in Manila. Filipino-Canadians (Caroline Mangosing, Darrel Gamotin, Nicco Lorenzo Garcia, and Nadine Villasin) were all there to talk to press and curious Manilenos. Coming up in March is the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival where Ang Pamana is in competition in the narrative section. So all you Bay Area folks come check it out! The kick ass soundtrack to the film will be available for purchase at the screenings. Screening dates are Sat March 17 - 9:45 pm and Tues March 20 - 9:45 pm, both at the AMC 1000 Van Ness, 1881 Post St. in San Francisco. ![]() commentwellourfriends
