maria	Jul 7 2008 8:19 AM Mr Joel Gion seen alive and well on stage in Manchester. He's been taking on vocals on Yeah Yeah this tour and has been very jovial at some of the shows that I have seen. BTW saw the Dilletantes play the Shakespeare in Sheffield, great show and cool little venue - hope you come back there one day!
Tiny Pigeon	Jul 7 2008 7:23 AM I would like to take my hat off to mr Gion due to his sterling dedication at the Roadmender last week in Northampton. All of the so called BJM fans throughout the gig were herassing Mr Newcombe, continually trying to get his attention. I would like to believe this rendered him uniterested in doing a good show. Mr Gion stepped up to the Microphone and sang Yeah Yeah and Servo, while Newcombe was sitting down. So my hat goes off to you Gion, you are lovely.

The book about how the Maori sect, the Ruatoria Rastafarians, took Bob Marley's lyrics literally, burning and-a looting and doing their best to chase those crazy baldheads out of town. You won't have read anything like this. If you like your crime writing dark, bizarre and 100 percent true, you can't go past this painstakingly researched book about one of the weirdest chapters of modern New Zealand history. Cheers, Gus
