Both Sharlz & Joe Blak were school mates from Kingsgrove High School, who had a deep love for music, whilst in yr 9 at the age of 14, Sharlz and Joe Blak performed at numerous school concerts up until yr 12, and in yr 11 a performance at Westfield Hurstville centre stage. Joe Blak & Sharlz write all original work. The production team behind The Dirty Boyz and all fellow Dirty Boy Records artists are handled by The Specialists, known for creating a unique electronic sound in Australia with big beats and melodies. The Dirty Boyz lyrics, are just about speakin the real whatever’s on their minds, “being a Dirty Boy is about having fun, talking about all the dirty aspects of life from sexual, political, and just havin fun with no limitations!” The Dirty Boyz are passionate eager performers full of energy with a unique stage presence and have done numerous performances as off late at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre, Boo-Teeq at UN bar, Space bar, also 2 at The Sly Fox hotel, Cave, Booty Bar at Civic Hotel, The Harp in Tempe and more. Dirty Boy Records the label was set up in 2004, a Label that’s a break a way from your traditional Hip Hop music offered in Australia, bringing an alternative style in Australia, with original Production and artists. Dirty Boyz created a huge buzz in the scene when winning the HoopDreamz Urbanstar competition which landed them media attention with interviews in Urban Hitz Magazine as well as on Hip Hop Tv. Dirty Boy Records in early 2006 put out a compilation / street album which created a buzz and spawned the street hit “Kingsgrove” accompanied with the famous video. We are officially announcing that Mass Burial has booked album recordings in Production Avenue studios in Sydney, which will commence on 21st of December 2009.
The producer will be none less than Lachlan Mitchell, who earned world wide fame by producing internationally acclaimed masterpiece albums for Sydney industrial/death metal giants The Amenta and legendary Australian black metal pioneers Nazxul.
