"You leave their gigs wanting to do unimaginably filthy, naughty things ... they play music you have to dance to in true ugly fashion: where your hair flies everywhere and you don't care what you look like as you're so caught up in the moment!" (Artrocker).

Hello everyone, groovy times at Turning Worm Towers. Hope you are up for some racket / drinking based shenanigans because there are some fine opportunities for such this coming week. Tomorrow (Friday 22nd) we're having our second outing at Tommy Flynn's, 55 Camden High St. The last one went swimmingly with such talent as Mani & Little Barrie in the audience and a bunch of nutters on stage. Tomorrow features a headline set from DEMPSEY & THE DC9S who are flying in from New York for a couple of gigs. Here's what the Sunday Times had to say about them: "A strong blend of trip-hop, delta blues, urban funk and alt-country. Provides the perfect soundtrack to city life." - Dan Cairns.. In support we have .a band that so blew us away at T.S.A.T. a few weeks ago we had to get them back on A.S.A.P.-THE WUTARS. The ever-rocking EIGHTS N' ACES and the intricate melodies of MEATEYE & DILLON will keep us warm in the middle, while the glamorous indie-pop twins TALL POPPIES kick things off. Phew! The doors open at around 7.30pm, music from eight and a mere £5 to get in!
Then on Sunday we've got an unmissable line up at THAT SUNDAY AFTERNOON THING at The World's End, Camden; in the shape of THE FOOL + THE PEOPLE'S REVOLUTIONARY CHOIR + DANNY AND THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD. |The fun starts around 5pm and it's FREE! If you're among the more organised on our mailing list you might like to visit ticketweb. co. uk and grab a £6 ticket for next Saturday's (1st March) gig at The Wilmington Arms, 69 Roseberry avenue, which involves THE DIRTY FEEL + THE DEBRETTS + THE PEOPLE'S REVOLUTIONARY CHOIR + MARRVEL. Whoa there, I think that's enough to be going on with. Hope to see you out there. X P&D
hey, i know this sounds juvenile, but are under-18's able to get into ur gigs or does it soley depend on the venue? love the music by the way- saw u at tapestry. xxx
Tonight it's our first night at newly refurbished venue Tommy Flynn's, 55 Camden High St. We're kicking off with a funk filled funktacular featuring The Mighty Boosh endorsed sleeze gods THE DIRTY FEEL buffered between Japanese electro/breaks miestro ANCHORSONG and the delectably bonkers BAD SANDWICH with an oppening set from insane rockoperatists DEEP BACKWARD SQUARE Messy!
