I use Keller shells, mine's a 10 ply. One similar would be between $300 and $350. It depends whether you want a wrap or a stain, and what kind of lugs and everything you want. (ex. black chrome and brass are slightly more expensive than chrome) But I really like the look of black chrome so it was worth the extra. If you're really interested, we can start talking about specifics and I can get you an actual cost. I would just ask for about half of it up front, then you can pay me while I'm working on it, or when it's complete. Whatever works best for you. And of course I'll charge almost nothing for labor for you.
My 14x7 I made will do the trick. But I can give you even more of an effect. I could make a 14x8, 15 ply. It would be a little more money, but it would have a real loud and tight pop. And if I threw some 1 1/2" or 2" ports, it would really give off some sound.
We just did the one song for fun. But I'm filling in for Alan this Friday and Saturday. I learned the songs today, not really my style but it will be fun. Snares... I love my tama artwood. It was cheap and it came with a case and it sounds amazing. I can whip up a real nice custom one real cheap for you though if you're at all interested.

Duddeeesssss! I'm recording with LNG right now, I finished the whole song that I'm in in one take haha. A couple fills could be better, but no big. It's an epic song. I bet you can't wait!?!?
