Hello. We are The Distortion. We are a five piece screamo/metal band from Scotland, Falkirk. We like to make a fair bit of noise, play gigs and make music.
We currently have four finished songs, which we're in the process of getting recorded properly. They are -
- Public Enemy
- Song For the Silent
- Sayonara
- Red Stained Snow
We also have 2 songs which we are in the process of writing, and we all have ideas for riffs, lyrics and beats flyin about as well.
Until they're recorded properly, unfortunately you'll have to put up with 'DON'T BE SO SILLY!' every time you go on this profile.
Anyway, if you like that song and are interested, add us.

As you may know by now, The Falkirk Wall's Official website launches on March 1st.
As part of the site, there is a music forum for artists and bands to leave messages related to the music scene in Falkirk. I've decided to launch the music forum approx. 4 weeks before the site launch to get things moving along.
You have to sign up for the forum.
Check it out at: http://thefalkirkwall.forumotion.com/
The Falkirk Wall's website is currently being put together for its launch in early 2008. As part of the site, we will be including an A to Z of artists & bands in the Falkirk area.
We are now offering artists and bands from the Falkirk area one page on our new site which will consist of a short biography, photo, links to music and contact details. We endeavor to build a strong database and information network for music and its associated organisations in Falkirk.
If your band is interested in this offer email a biography, photo, music links and contact details to Pat Fagan - patfagan2002@yahoo.com
Cheers
Pat Fagan

'Broken Record Tactics' is a fun little record for fans of Cartel and The Starting Line. If you're in the mood for some chirpy, melodic pop-punk with a bit of a rockier edge, you could do a lot worse than to check them out.' - Punktastic.com
I hope you don’t mind this promotional message, we promise it will be the last one for a while :-)
Ah!!.. that's Lou right?? - the dubbel bass player in waiting??
Yeah, heard the demo - it's a tuff one really 'cos I know you're a young band, so it's often down to money for recording etc...
For what it's worth, I'm a sound engineer by trade (mainly tv work latterly) but I can give you loads of advice if you like??
I can speak from mistakes even - I did a Radio 1 session a few years back an' made a mess of it, cos I didn't listen to their engineer - thought I knew better!!
Anyhow, drop us a line if you like an' i can give ya my 2 pennorth...
