The DITCH apresentam-se como um projecto electrónico alternativo, reunindo várias influências e sonoridades, através de uma partilha de ideias e de interesses musicais.
Não se enquadram dentro de um rótulo especifico da cena musical
actual, não negando porém as suas influências, que vagueiam desde do rock à electrónica, do electro ao industrial, até aos mais sombrios estilos musicais das décadas de 80 e 90.
Com o objectivo de explorar e testar os limites do controlo da mente, bem como a escultura do pensamento, The DITCH desenvolvem a matéria pura da criatividade musical, onde a realidade e a ficção são temas subjacentes no conceito da banda, a nível auditivo e visual.
No ano de 2007, The DITCH participaram na compilação “This Will End In Tears”, CD Compilation 2007 thisk.47 da THISCO Records com o tema “Battle”, assim como na compilação promocional “Entulho Sonoro 3” da Revista “UNDERWORLD" Nº 24 - Setembro 2007 com o tema "Whoregasmic".
Em 2008, "Veia Antecubital" foi o tema escolhido para o álbum de remixes a cargo de DEADBOY, onde também estão confirmadas as presenças de Broto Verbo, Bizarra Locomotiva, Mofo, P.D.L. e Iamx.
The DITCH estão numa fase de composição de novos temas com o objectivo de poder apresentá-los ao universo exterior.
The DITCH appear as an alternative electronic project, gathering several influences and sonorities, by a share of ideas and common musical interests.
They aren’t encountered in a specific label in the current musical scene, although they do not deny their influences that dabble in rock, electronic, industrial, electro, until the most bleak of musical styles of the decades 80 & 90.
Their purpose is the exploration and the probation of the borderings of mind control, as well as the sculpture of thought, The DITCH develop pure matter of musical creativity, where reality and fiction are themes attached to the concept of the band, in auditive and visual order.
In the year 2007, The DITCH participated in the compilation “This Will End In Tears”, CD Compilation 2007 thisk.47 of THISCO Records with the track “Battle”, as well in the promotional compilation “Entulho Sonoro 3” of the magazine “UNDERWORLD" Nº 24 - September 2007 with the track "Whoregasmic".
