Biography Who are Divine Soldiers? Divine Soldiers are a gospel hip-hop band based out of Akron, OH. The DS crew started from the vision of brothers Jason and Brandon Wallace, who grew up idolizing and living the positive and negative elements of the hip-hop culture. But, something changed in their lives and that something was a relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of this powerful relationship, and their knowledge of how hip-hop has influenced the globe, they decided to use hip-hop as it was intended; which is to educate and empower the masses.
The DS crew has grown, and specifically the addition of Anthony (Traxx Gallore) Wallace, ironically of no relation, has helped Divine Soldiers' music quality continue to be progressive.
Originally performing before crowds of only a few people, DS has performed before as many as fifteen thousand, but their main objective has not changed.
Divine Soldiers has released three CDs, and have sold and distributed thousands of copies of their music. DS has performed with Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Brian Littrell, Rilent K, John Reuben, Big Daddy Weave, Pocket Full of Rocks, Family Force Five, Superchick, Leeland, Fighting Instinct, Decypher Down, and many more. Their mission is to impact and change as many lives as they can positively. They will not compromise and have just one question: R.U. Enlisted?
