Concern: Heart-breaking scene in Iran may guarantee people have turned the corner and have hope for a new future but no one will forget the terrible images of people dying in the street. Red candles continue to burn for the fallen saints.
Computer: Take a note. Romulan ale will no longer be served during any diplomatic dinner. Klingons may have abducted, brainwashed, and programmed Republican Congressman Mark Kirk by mistake.
Concern:
Tresspassing
We have developed a casual attitude about crossing the boundary lines of other people so much so that the strip search of a thirteen year old student [they said they were looking for drugs] does not even hit the headlines. When did we accept strip search rules as applicable to anyone in this country? Does anyone remember the outrage Johnny Carson felt when he was strip searched for a traffic ticket? He never got over it!
Concern: the reversal of laws that protect the balance of wolf-carabou in America - a symbiotic relationship dated back to before the ancient history of man. We discovered the grave problem that always results when men try to play God - this one is a classic! http://www.eyeonpalin.org

wowie zowie Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His early bands were the Deltones and the Tridents, but he didn’t really begin to make waves on the international rock scene until he joined the Yardbirds, where he succeeded Eric Clapton. Beck was presented with the award by longtime friend Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio. http://www.rockhall.com/inductee/jeff-beck -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPiln7t58ls --

In Egyptian hieroglyphic language, the sign of the bee was a determinative in royal nomenclature, partly by analogy with the monarchic organization of these insects, but more especially because of the ideas of industry, creative activity and wealth which are associated with the production of honey. In the parable of Samson (Judges xiv, 8) the bee appears in this same sense. In Greece it was emblematic of work and obedience.
According to a Delphic tradition, the second of the temples built in Delphi had been erected by bees. In Orphic teaching, souls were symbolized by bees, not only because of the association with honey but also because they migrate from the hive in swarms, since it was held that souls 'swarm'. "The film is based on a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, who said he was inspired by a quote from Mark Twain. He was quoted as saying, "Life would be infinitely happier if we could only be born at the age of eighty and gradually approach eighteen."

Global Warming, Dependency on Foreign Oil, our Economy…
“We're in a giant car heading toward a brick wall and everyone's arguing over where they're going to sit.” - David Suzuki
The Solar Roadways can eliminate half of all greenhouse gases and produce three times more electricity than we’ve ever used. We can finally make electric cars the norm. No more need for fossil fuels at all. No more need for nuclear reactors. No more worrying about the price of gasoline.
Global warming solved, oil dependency eliminated, safer driving conditions, wildlife protected, and terrorism bankrupt. Just think about it...
If you’d like to help us save our world (we’re not kidding), then please – sign our Encouragement List and place the Solar Roadways in your Top Friends List.

Greetings and salutations,
My best friend Mark Williams (a.k.a.) Admiral Kirk needs your vote to win a Star Trek: TOS Captain's Chair in the final round of the Roddenberry. com's 2008 Member of the Year contest. Mark and I "Gary (a.k.a.) Mr. Spock" are best known for our "Kirk And Spock" shows that we put on at conventions. The 2008 STARBASE INDY convention on Thanksgiving weekend featured us as part of their main entertainment. We had performed "Spock's Brain". I hope that we can get the video of our performance on YouTube in the near future. Another great reason to vote for Mark is that I only live a few miles from his house! After all, I have been and always shall be his friend.
