This project was started in September of 2005 in Austin, TX. The name itself comes from a William S. Burroughs novel entitled "Naked Lunch". In the beginning, things were relatively rudementary, get an idea and record that idea on an inexpensive 4-track located in a closet right under a bunch of pants and shirts. The Idea was normally short; they still are fairly short. The Divisionists now consist of two people. The first Divisionist (Yorbin-flobber Camaro) likes this because the second Divisionist (The esteemed Mr. Shivers) adds some solidity to the music. It also means that Yorbin-flobber Camaro doesn't have to sing.
