we were a band from the year 2000 to the year 2007.
'When a band can render the less-than-positive word "divorce" into something you really, really want, you know they've got to be good. ' - spin.com, september 2005
...so i guess we were good, then. thank you, spin.
Here's our 2005 laser dome cd release show mini-documentary by propadata films. it's pretty neat.
if you would like to purchase 'the gifted program', you may do so here:

also, we may still have these (and other) shirts (and tote bags) available online from luckyhorseindustries.com (click on the soaring eagle!):
Dudes never got to see you guys but you're on the top of my favorites list. My band is always inspired by your music. Wish we could write as amazing as you guys. thanks.
I still can't believe that you guys broke up... I know James and I both miss you so much. Its hard to believe it'll be a year in a little under three months. Whenever we're in the car and a Divorce song comes up on the iPod, we seem to spend the ENTIRE time talking about memories we have associated with you guys. Every time. It's kind of funny. It's definitely been weird not seeing you all as much, and this summer will be especially boring without our weekly/monthly Divorce fix. Maybe... you guys should play ONE more show before we all move away... and by maybe, I mean, you really have to. SEATTLE [and Kitsap County...!] MISSES YOU!
it's been quite a while. but you're missed. quite a bit. it's getting to that time of year when the divorce represents everything that's right. i feel like this music was made for being young and reckless. we miss you a lot.
When something great like "the" love of your life... or even "the" marriage of all marriages ends, it's always complicated and yet tragic. But when a The Divorce of a lifetime ends, how do you move on? How? When the music’s over, the lights don't turn off so easily. Hope you all are well! :: joe jellema
Sometimes, I go to the store and steal thins, in hopes that you will be so disappointed in me that you will come out of the dressing room with all of your instruments like some public service announcements, and play me a song, sparking you to realize you need to play more music together, and therefore playing more super rad shows.
So I was just casually watching season 1 of The Loop and what were they using as backround bar scene music? CALL THE POLICE is what they were using as backround bar scene music. When did that happen?
I just tried to buy the album, but it wouldn't let me over paypal ... maybe it's because it is a German account, which would make me very sad. is there any other way?
THANKS AMILLION FOR HAVING US PLAY WITH YOU. IT WAS TRULY AN HONOR TO BE A PART OF YOUR FINAL SHOW. GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING SEE YOU AROUND TOWN. LOVE LOVE LOVE SS
Gents, thanks for having Crosstide up to play those final shows with you. I had a great time and enjoyed seeing you play again but it's bittersweet. Talk to you all soon.
