Ever since Dainbramage started dj'ing in 1997 he has been charting a path of his own that encompasses house ranging from funky to progressive, electro to tech with the occasional break beat thrown in to keep things interesting. Like Ice-T said "music is music". A partner in the DC based company, District Ignition, Dainbramage is one of the key up and coming players in the electronic music scene in the nation’s capital and throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
Dainbramage started out playing parties at Guilford College and numerous house parties in Greensboro, NC. He moved on to play many clubs and companies including Club Glow, Buzzlife Productions, Mythos Nightclub in Charlotte, Touch in Raleigh, and the now legendary Babylon Nightclub. Dainbramage was also the co-host with Nick Nasty of the "Funkin' Afternoon" radio show that appeared on WQFS 90.9FM from 1999-2001.
In addition to a residency at the weekly, Snatch, in Washington, DC Dainbramage has dropped his signature brand of house music on dance floors in Greensboro, Charlotte, Richmond, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. During the last several years Dainbramage has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists including Dirty Vegas, Tocadisco, DJ Dan, Hatiras, DJ Boris, Terry Mullan, DJ Icey, Ak-1200, Charles Feelgood, and Scott Henry and many more.
Dainbramage has big things planned for the summer of 2009 including gigs at clubs in Washington, DC and other major US cities, and music festivals and weekend raves now that the weather is cooperating. Though dj’ing remains his focus, Dainbramage is delving more deeply into the realm of music production and hopes to have a full release on Metronix Recordings before the year is over. Dainbramage seeks to be the dj that proves fun is the rule, and hopes to see you dancing at a gig in the near future.
