Jacksonville dystonia meeting was very very good. The best meeting I have attended in my dystonia time. Dr Orr was wonderful and explained everything and took questions. It was worth the two hour drive. Thank you for making this meeting possible. My family left informed and knowing exactly what I am dealing with. I am grateful and blessed to have attended this meeting. Many people were in attendance for this meeting.
Hope you are staying warm. My brother in law lives in CT and he said it is snowing again too. We are in for a freeze tonite here in the Sunshine State. It's been too cold this year for too long down here and all the plants are dying covered or uncovered. Can't wait for the Spring to begin again. Have a great weekend I am off to Jacksonville for the Community Education Meeting. I am hoping to get alot out of it.
glad for groups like this.... but more is needed for those that need to get SSDI....because their movement disorder has affected job, life, and social life. those movement disorders that are kinsigenic in nature especially are downplayed due to lack of understanding on the part of the medical world and government. In the end depression that stems from the changes that occur with the diagnosis is the determining factor about ability to work. Sadly, not the disorder that changes life, causes a person to fall and badly break bones and other injuries, in the end it all boils down to the "depression".
