   About The DN5
The DN5 formed in early 2007 from the combined ashes of numerous northwest bands, rising phoenix like from the rock and roll destruction.....

Steve - The man responsible for bringing together the component parts of The DN5. His bluesy rock n’ roll songwriting style is heavily influenced by the music, language and imagery conjured from the 70s deep south, he brings a loose sound to the rhythm guitar that underpins The DN5’s sound.....

Greg - Cobretti The Bass Man has been a good friend of Steve’s for many years and a bandmember right from the days of rising from the ashes. Always the man to look to when you forget how a song goes, Gregs style provides the powerful backline to the sound the band creates.

Pete - Despite not having been a drummer for long, Petes playing together with Gregs bass gives The DN5 their powerful rhythm section sound. Coming from a more hard rock background, Pete lends this style to the more blues influenced sound of the band to great effect, giving the songs a heavier edge. The only member of the band with an Official Serious Musicians Beard TM.

Rob - Despite not having a similar taste in music to the rest of the band when he first joined, he soon took to the sound and swagger the band were creating and fitted right in within no time. His presence on stage make him the ideal person to front the band.

Dan - The final member to join the band, he provides the awesome lead guitar that signifies The DN5 sound. Amazingly, after years of playing he was tired of performing live and ready to turn his back on music until a chance meeting introduced him to the band and he’s never looked back. Dan rounds off the band perfectly bringing amazing guitar hero solo talent to the songs.

you need to use a thing called the "telephone" to "talk" to other people in far away places to book the gigs.

i'm kidding.

and yes, i'm a horrible person.

but you are well aware of this.

To make you very upset or sad, or ruin your whole day.

Just let it slide."

Word of the week......

RETOX

To start consuming drugs and alcohol again after a hiatus in an effort
to avoid the effects of withdrawl.

"Man, I haven't had a drink since monday and I'm getting the shakes.
I'd better retox."

Emma

Mar 26 2007 10:55 AM

I thought you could relate to this one.....

SNARKY

A witty mannerism, personality, or behavior that is a combination of
sarcasm and cynicism. Usually accepted as a complimentary term. [Snark]
is sometimes mistaken for a snotty or arrogant attitude.

"Her snarky remarks had half the room on the floor laughing and the
other half ready to walk out."
Emma

Mar 18 2007 8:30 AM

I know this is a bit overdue, the work of the week is....

Yadadamean

Bay Area slang for "you know what I'm sayin?" Other variations include
"[yadadaimsayin]" and "[yadada] I'm talkin bout?"

"I'm bout to put this [thizz] in my life....[spark] this [bleezy] and
take it from there yadadamean?"
