  • Bio

In strange experiments, performed in secret laboratories, a crazed scientist worked on the formation and animation of living flesh created from the primal slime and ooze buried deep within the depths of the Sinister Swamp. These swamp creatures lay dormant, buried deep in the stinking sludge until the time was right for them to emerge. The Doctor's Pond finally crawled out of the murky ooze of the Sinister Swamp way back in 1985. These creatures of the dank and dismal depths lurched out of the bayous of the Marden Delta and into an unsuspecting and largely uncaring world. Animated by a primal spark of life, they were primitive creatures and drew their inspiration from the darkest and most primordial recesses of rock 'n' roll's deranged and debauched past and wallowed in the raw and savage sounds of garage fuzz on full psychedelic overload. The Doctor's Pond had an ever-changing array of musicians, including original vocalist 'Rustic Rod Goodway, and played several gigs of primitive, three-chord swamp stompers to bemused and frightened audiences, before finally returning to the swamp from whence they came. But they threatened to return. And they did. The Doctor's Pond have released their debut album on CD and are now sippin' that mushroom wine and working on new material for their second album 'Swampadelic'. Their music is rich with the primal power of the Marden Delta: Music of a quality that a world that is witness to too much pain needs quite a bit of - in fact a lot . . . of ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ...... ......
