Then there’s The Domani International’s cover of “Debonair.” As if nailing the guitar work and the emotion of Dulli’s vocals wasn’t hard enough, TDI placed an impromptu keyboard fizzle in the middle of the track that added some dexterity to an already super song. - Sonic Dissonance review of Summerskiss Records 'A Tribute to The Afghan Whigs'
Each artist tackles the tao of Dulli in their own way. Mark Lanegan gives the creepy old man ballad “Tonight” a languid horn solo, and drops the melody an octave. The Domani International’s vocal impersonation on “Debonair” is spot on, but the music is doing it’s own thing. - American Songwriter review of Summerskiss Records 'A Tribute to The Afghan Whigs'
Josh Brett is a disciple of Jeff Buckley, but while Bretts gained Buckley's control and beauty, he has roughed up the edges and made it his own, more in the spirit of his other vocal hero, Greg Dulli [the Afghan Whigs], raved Julia Gordon-Bramer of nighttimes.com.
The sound is atmospheric and addictive, pronounced PLAYBACK:stls John Kujawski.
I highly recommend checking them out. Lee-summerskiss.com
The debut EP, This Is_The Domani International, recorded at Flickerlight Recording Company and produced by Kevin Clay and Steven Wilson, grabs the listener from the moment it begins to spin. Theres an ethereal, almost Brit-pop sound to Into Forever. The key-and-drum interludes lift the listener to the heavens with just the right dash of guitar to return feet to ground. Such Sweet Sorrow is poised to slip readily onto college or indie radio. Despite its title, the songs an uplifting m..lange of guitar, keyboards, and Brett's ascendant vocals. The balladry of Our Colliding Age and, especially, its gently soaring refrain is instantly captivating. Just Keep Breathing is another gem, striking just the right balance between rock and pop. Finally, Out of a Vulgar Machine pays homage to 80s synthpop while sounding fresh and of-the-moment.
With critical acclaim and comparisons ranging from the Twilight Singers to Remy Zero to Jeff Buckley, The Domani International have quickly made a name for themselves on the scene.
With 'This is_ ...', The Domani International have created an indie rock symphony, putting a new spin on a familiar sound.

Hey, check out this brand new exclusive podcast from Franco Cangelli, Franco Cangelli [Mowar, Seventh Sign, Persistencebit, Aesthetik, Sushitech]
Franco Cangelli stands for an uncompromising quality punch, spiked with motorcity soulfulness, Chicago jack while still gently pushing the envelope. Feel free to call his music deep techno, Detroit techno, deep house… he doesn’t really care about monikers anyway.
Hailing from Gent Belgium, he made his debut with the successful 2005 release Spectre on Belgian imprint Toys For Boys. Since then he went on to release on various labels such as Sushitech, Aesthetik, Seventh Sign, Persistencebit and his own imprint Mowar.
Just three? I gotta say I'm slightly disappointed, I was hoping for a twelve-song album at least. Yeah, I know it's not easy to be a good band in this Susan-Boyled-Britney-lip-synching world :( Shame, really...
