Sounds Like
The band's sound can be described as a singer songwriter's vision, with contemporary rhythms, and classic rock flare.
The Domestics was formed in June of 2005 by Singer, Songwriter Nick Nagy who began making original home demo recordings with a drummer friend. However seeking more of a trio sound Nick soon enlisted the help of bassist Dave Leister in August of 2005, to bring some rhythmic and melodic bass lines to the group.
The trio soon made two studio demos in December of 2005, and again in August of 2006. These demos have been played on various radio stations including WZZO - 95.1 FM, WDIY - 88.1 FM, 93.9 FM, 93.7 FM.
The Domestics began playing at many venues in Eastern Pennsylvania, including The Funhouse in Bethlehem, The Front Row in Stroudsburg, and even making an acoustic duo appearance at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards.
In December of 2006, The Domestics' original drummer, parted ways to pursue his own individual interests. In this minor setback, Nick and Dave took on The Domestics Duo form, and began to play many Lehigh Valley area open mics, even making their way to Grape Street Philadelphia Open Mic!
Nick and Dave however, realizing their love for a the sound of a drum set, soon brought aboard Frank Dancey in January of 2007, to bring some much needed power and creativity to the kit!
The band's sound can be described as a singer songwriter's vision, with contemporary rhythms, and classic rock flare.
Nick Nagy's soaring vocals combined with his keen ear for great chord changes can only be well complimented by Dave Leister's Strong steady bass, and his soft yet soothing backing vocals. Completing the band is Frank Dancey, with his sound and true contemporary drum fills, and splashy cymbols that can lead you to identify a song just by listening to his beats.

How'd you come across my page? (just curious : ) Anyway, I'm glad you did! Now that we're friends, don't be a stranger!
