The Donkey is fast becoming THE music venue to play in Leicester! It is a great sized room/bar holding up to 150 people (half seated) 200 standing A small stage with a 3k Logic Pro PA system with 2 way monitors and lights. FOH engineer. Great atmosphere with a music loving audience! What more would you want!

One of the key findings of this report highlight the shocking statistic that 33% of all victims were below the age of 22 and indeed 11% were under the age of 16.
Karma Nirvana could not have anticipated the sheer volume of calls. The success of the line serves to highlight the tragic plight of many of our citizens. Jasvinder Sanghera has made many pleas for support.
Today Karma Nirvana have announced that the Honour Network Helpline will cease to operate at the end of December 2009.
This petition implores the Prime Minister and his Government, as a matter of urgency, to properly fund The Honour Network Helpline in order that it can continue to serve these desperate British Subjects.

Not many of you know that I was in a situation at the age of 16 when I would have had to marry a much older (an old stinking drunk I was 16 he was jobless and in his 40's !) man as soon as I knew this is what my father had planned for me I began plotting to run away and luckily managed to escape in January 1987 aged 17, unfortunately I had no such help like Karma Nirvana but wish there had been someone and somewhere to turn for help , I know of two girls around my age who ended up taking their lives rather than go through a forced marriage one of them a school friend ,and quite a few who escaped , even in this day and age it is still a huge problem I would appreciate if you could take two minutes to sign this petition Thank you so much Ampy xxxxx
