After years of struggling through as musicians with integrity, zeke martino, rob shumacher and ward richmond came up with a get rich scheme. The plan: sell out as quick as possible and get rich quick. The Doubledowns were then born. Soon other musicians joined the cause, ace, guitar george, slum lord jim, wendell, gaah, billy kay, matt the katt, pops, and chris tracy. While being a rythm and blues group, The Doubledowns also play rockabilly, rock and roll, as well as any form of music that we are asked to play (as long as the money is right.) And with there debut album Dirty Slang and Innuendo now available on crow records, it is time to show the love...
