Our main interest aside from all you lovely rockers is of course, music....well music and beer...well ok, beer music and SEX!!!! We can guarantee you beer and music but the sex you need to sort for yourself!! We love all kinds of rock and metal music from Zeppelin to Slayer, Iron maiden to Pantera, Iggy Pop to Nickelback, The Doors to Sepultura....our Friday and Saturday ROCK N LOAD nights are PACKED with all the music that you know and love to bits......and remember, you only have to ask for your fave songs to be played!!!

The Dove and Rainbow is a Rock Pub situated in the heart of Downtown Sheffield, in the glorious county
of the White Rose of South Yorkshire. Although this pub name/site dates back to the 17th century, the Dove has really only been a fully fledged and full time rock bar since we opened on November 3rd 2006,when we took over a former punk and old 'Tut N Shive' pub.
Now
firmly extablished on Sheffield's rock venue circuit, the Dove offers the very best in rock entertainment throughout the week, a blend of DJ events, live bands, drinks promotions,,and one of the best selection of quality Cask Ales you will see in central Sheffield. No less than 8 fine cask ales in rotation, plus we are well known for our eclectic range of cask and bottled ciders and ales. We are also THE preferred meet up and pre-gig drinks venue for for the Boardwalk, Arena, Corporation, City Hall, Academy,ET AL. Whenever good rock bands are playing in town, you can bet the Dove will be busy with pre-giggers, and in the case of many gigs, we will DJ the pre-gig sessions with relevant tunes to get you in the mood!!!! So come on down and party dude!!!!

We are proud to announce that we are HEADLINING the Cream Insturment Cable Stage at the Lesser Muni as part of the 2009 Great British R&B Festival in Colne, Lancashire, UK on Monday August 31st. The Charlie White Project and Sheffield’s blues poet Mr Billy Martin Jnr are also appearing. Expect great music and utterly immaculate sound quality using cutting edge PA cables and power amps.
