| | Sounds Like | Apparently we sound like... ... "A cross between Joy Division and The Smashing Pumpkins" (E.Toner - EBA Promotions), "...high FX guitar akin to Bloc Party..." (guestlistmusic.blogspot.com) and "Best thing in town since the inception of the wheel" (according to TLOB)
"The ethereal and by comparison mellower sounds of THE DRAKE EQUATION are equally compelling. “Stop The World” is a haunting affair as singer Craig delivers a series of lilting Californian melodies , cut to the progressive lo-fi jams of each guitar jangle. “Vicious Circle” is the sound of a band finding its way, but they certainly have some great ideas to kick start everything off . Short loops and busy guitars demonstrate a thirst for just trying something different, but it’s the hazy American melodies that seal the deal (check out future classic “Feels Better”). Ones to watch" (manchestermusic.co.uk)
