Smooze's Interests
|
| General |
My main interest would be spending time with my close friends. And then filmmaking, mentoring, watching movies, music, traveling, winemaking, dancing, reading and whatever else that strikes my fancy at the moment. Overall I feel that nothing can compare with being on a film set.
“Low expectations breeds mediocrity, high expectations breeds greatness.”- Smooze
"Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence." - George Washington
"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing you will be successful."
"The best way to predict your future is to create it!"
"The key to immortality is first to live a life worth remembering."
"I don't care what people think of me. The people I care about know the real me, and that's all that matters."
"God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."
"Some people feel the rain; others just get wet."
"Life is full of problems. How we deal with them is how we define ourselves."
"Sometimes you only get one moment that determines your life... and then it's gone."
"In reality, all men are sculptors constantly chipping away the unwanted parts of therir lives trying to create their idea of the masterpiece."
“I'd rather regret something I did than something I didn't do."

Yes... I have one and the picture is in color!!! I use it to play DVD movies.
| | Heroes |
My heroes are common people who rise to the occasion and decide that it is far better "to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."

About me:
I am a film producer and music promoter. My schedule right now is very busy, but that is the way I like it. I am currently producing and in pre-production on two films in Michigan, Christmas in Pittsburgh and The Girl in the Painting (only a working title). When production for these two projects are completed, we will resume production on my own drama titled, Terminal Tower. In addition, I am currently in production assisting JustUs League Films in producing Mountain Mafia. I also just completed producing two Tempered Zealot shorts, Dream 3 and ATW: Revelation.

On my first feature film, I was the executive producer. Loaded Dice, starring Tom Savini, received a distribution deal through Shore Line Entertainment and is currently available in numerous countries on DVD. Here are some behind the scene photos of Loaded Dice.

Who I'd like to meet:
With me, it is not so much who I would like to meet as much as who I would want to spend my quality time with. That time would be spent with close friends.
On the other hand, I love meeting new people who are lovers of life, walkers and not talkers. I like art-oriented people who also generally know where they want to go, have a balance between their creative and business side and most importantly are overflowing with passion for their dreams and projects.
I hate meeting fake people at a big party, who make small talk, pretend to be what they are not and who only want to impress you with what is on the surface. I act towards others as I would want to be treated.
When I do meet someone new, I would rather share a bottle of wine and really get to know a person, by going beyond their surface, and getting to know them for who they really are and vice-versa.
