I have been on Live Journal for years http://evilari.livejournal.com/
It's where I do most of my postings, if you are there, say hello. I will try to post here more often though.
I am a jewelry designer, artist, bibliophile, anthropologically inclined ethnophile who's insanely curious, a lover of all things odd and eccentric and admitted clotheshorse. I love finding treasures in unexpected places and recognizing them for their uniqueness, taking old things and making them new and different and making my very own creations.
My background and education include 8 years of college, with majors in Theatre Arts, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Psychology, Anthropology and Journalism. You might say I have a well rounded education. I am a mother of four wonderful teenage boys who are my greatest joy. I have also been known to dabble in music as well and spent time as a folk music coffeehouse producer and host, as well as concert organizer.
I believe that my experiences and life in general has given me a unique and holistic approach to art and life.

Hey, do you remember a song in the '80s that used samples from Rocky and Bullwinkle? I can't remember the name of the group. I just remember a sample of Bullwinkle saying, "Hey, Rocky!" over and over. Hee.
Thank you for visiting our Victorian Elegance page – and your friendship to it. This page is dedicated to our first film, the gothic western Shroud.
We are dedicated to creating roles for women in film that showcase the full wonder of being a girl. Hollywood has long relegated women to prostitutes, servile wives, vicious vamps, helpless girlfriends or self-obsessed and psychopathic porn stars – a childish predilection that is frequently more insulting than entertaining.
As a challenge to this common misogyny, we have recently finished Shroud. The story follows a young Dutch bride who, having suffered the loss of her beloved father, must journey to America to locate her missing husband. With her mischievous little brother in tow, she begins to unravel a 300-year old mystery and the fate of her husband. Intelligent, faithful, resourceful and impeccably dressed, she proves the old proverb: the only thing greater than the love of a wife, is the wrath of a widow.
Please visit our site over the next few weeks as new pictures, screensavers, and movie clips will be forthcoming. We hope you enjoy our work and our message and we hope to hear from each of you.
