About me:
I am currently living in Anchorage, about an hour from where I grew up. I am living in my first home in the south part of town, and absolutely love it. I work in Anchorage as a Civil Engineer for a private Consulting firm on Transportation and Traffic projects. Other than my work, I try to travel as much as I can. I try to get out at least every other month, and you can almost always find me in Seattle (although its been a while). Every now and again you’ll find me out at a Martini Bar or a Dance Club and the occasional Karaoke Bar. However, I do love staying in and gaming with some close friends. I love video games, namely Nintendo, and board games namely Catan or Rails. I got the new Wii the day it came out, and I had to wait 3 hours in the cold to get it, but it was way worth it. I want to meet someone mature, that knows who they are. Someone that can take care of themselves, and values their family and friends. Someone that doesn't take themselves too seriously and can still enjoy Saturday morning cartoons, Pixar Movies, and silly games, but seriously enough to have self respect. Just about anything- I really love live music, and will go to just about anything. My most recent concerts include: The Beautiful Girls, the Virginia Coalition, MATT & KIM IN AK!, Mika, Panic! at the Disco, the Shins, and countless others. I like musical theatre, thats about the strangest thing I listen to. I like alternative, dance, punk and sometimes pop- I am really into Jack Johnson type of music too. Most recently looking into 'Pop'-Punk and Syntho-Pop, like Vampire WeekendMovies
On my recently watched shelf: WALL-E Son of Rambow (Make believe, not war), Charlie Bartlett, Star Wars, Clue, Serial MomTelevision
Pushing Daises, Wonder Falls,anything on Logo, and some old 80's shows like Golden Girls etc. Of course I watch all the engineering shows on the History and Discovery Channels. I haven't watched much TV lately though.Books
WICKED: by Greggory Maguire, if you haven't read it, read it! Its the most amazing work I have ever read. Much better than Anything they make you read in highschool! STIFF: not sure the lady's name that wrote this, but it was really great too. Nonfiction though- and really disturbing. Starting my forth book by Chistopher Moore, and laughing my butt off. So, he's quickly moving up my list of favorite authors.Heroes

Also, I got another friends hooked on Wonderfalls! He loved it! Just an example of a way you continue to influence lives in Albuquerque, lol.
If I had the money, I'd fly up to Alaska in a heartbeat and take a nice vacation, long or short. Lately I've been loosing alot of money on my truck, rather than saving. It's a money pit.
