Before computers god made music. I cannot begin to tell you how much I love music. I like everything from abba to zappa! I do not beleieve in listening to just one genre of music either, it kind of limits your viewing pleasure so to speak! You can usually tell allot about someone just by listening to the music they listen to. I am a lyrics guy, I don't always like the beat of some music, but if the lyrics are there then it's on! Songwriters are some of the most brilliant people you will ever run in to! Thier soul is on thos words at the end of your tongue. My favorite group would be Pink Floyd. Roger waters is "one" of the best story tellers ever. Flip in "Amused to Death" or 'The pro's and cons of hitchiking" and he will tell you his story. I can most relate to him as well. Second would be the Beatles and John Lennon.
Movies
Movies, well like music if you wacth the right one it can take you places you want to be for 2 hours or more (give or take)
I love epics. And yes I like love stories if they are told in a good way like Once, I even liked "Down to you"
Once, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Neverwas, Across the Universe (of course), The Science of sleep, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Garden State, Girl, Interrupted, War Made Easy: How Presidents and Pundits Keep Spinning Us to Death, Blade Runner, The Martian Child, The Crow, The Wall, A Clockwork Orange, Romeo + Juliet, Reign Over Me, What dreams may come...So many more that my figers would bleed..See my wrists? I've bled enough
Television
I can tell I am getting older as I like the news! Cnn or MSNBC. No fox please!! I like House and weeds but I dont sit and wacth to much of it anymore. Kids ya know lol.
If one man should not be in charge of the strongest power in the "western world" it should not have been this guy..I did not vote for him thats for sure.
Well Here are all my kids in a row lol..Wow was I busy and at a young and tender age!
Books
Hmm I have a new found love for books I did not have when I was younger..I love all of Shakespeare, Paradise Lost, The Odessy, Still reading The Divine Comedy which is still confusing me. Loving Marcus Aurelius, Just got done reading "I am America and So can you" by the Colbert Man, was funny but he is to right wing for me.
These are the kids.
This is my daughter (my little geek in training) she has Cri-Du-Chat (cry of the cat in french) Her 5th chromosone was deleted upon conception. But she is a bundle of joy..
Dont ya love her shirt hahaha.
This is the little devil I swear. I know my Dad is laughing right now.
Heroes
Roger Waters, John Lennon, Martin King, Marcus Aurelius, I love philosophers they make us think and question things..

Well Not much to know really. People say I speak in riddles? I think they just think in questions! I have a bad short term memory, for as long as I can remember. Other than that I dig music,(I still call Cd's Albums) movies, I am into Home Theatres, computers and helping others on the web fix theirs. I am well known across the net as Merlin. I have a dry, sarcastic British sense of humor (thanks to Monty Python and Benny Hill. I try not to get caught up in life's little games. Who I'd like to meet: I dont know, people that have the same interest as me I suppose. Then again I like meeting people who's opinions differ from mine as I do like to learn new things. I am tired of meeting fake people though. We as a people are just so wound up these days. We are in the gimme now generation and yes I am to blame as well as I want to be friends with my kids as well. There has to be a balance there though!
the FAIR was so fun =) and I wasn't too bad when it came to the food... promise! I had stuffed jalapenos (which were muy bueno) and a margarita (and I don't drink!) it was something about the fair, lol hope you had a great weekend as well
Basically, I parked down the Hill on College ave and walked a couple blocks up to campus. I did stop at Starbucks for a Triple Venti Caramel Soy Latte. College Bagels, my normal haunt, was packed!!!!! It was raining so I got soaked while walking the campus. Everyone kept stopping me for directions. I was like, "Ummm... I haven't been on campus since Before Carl Sagan died; Carl Sagan died in '96." It was nice getting reacquainted with the Cornell Campus. It is gorgeous during the fall when the leaves are changing. If you are ever in the NY area , you need to visit Ithaca on the weekend and hit up the Moosewood or the Mate Factor in the commons for great food! Ithaca is a sweet little progressive gown town.
Hey, Bill was pretty good. It was about 75% new material.LOL!!!!!I haven't been on cornell's campus since before Carl Sagan passed away. I forgot how beautiful it is. Have a great day!!!!
Well, I have to admit, after working with the health care field for 13 years, that shit happens. Everyone is fucking everyone. Generally, doctors are the most dysfunctional elitist around. If your into pseudosciences, I think its a perfect example of arrested development.
Hey, I wanted to rub it in. I am going to see Bill Maher at Cornell. Section 3, Row N seat 12. I have to check in with the Ithaca Atheists and see who else is going. I am stoked!!!!! How r u?
OH MY GOD...that is the worst thing a man can do...at least call and say "Hey, something came up and I can't make it" that is better than nothing at all...
hope your day gets better... we have some nail biting appts on monday and tuesday that I'll have to update you on later. have a good one! how's the family?
