About me: The Dugout Sports Bar & Restaurant was established in 2002 by John Hoeft Jr. and his late wife, Melanie. The bar is known for catering to it's wide variety of customers, the excellent food and the large selection of imported and domestic beers.
Over the past years John and Melanie have hosted many indoor/outdoor music events featuring bands such as: Bobby Evans, Smokin' Crawdads, the Green Situation, Road Trip, Unity, Burnt Toast & Jam, Shaggstreet, Railroad Ron and many others.
John, who is an avid sports fan has also hosted many softball tournaments over the years and managed many summer/fall leagues.
The Dugout also has many events that take place throughout the year including live music, karaoke, pool tournaments, dart tournaments and many Packer parties during the football season.
John and his two boys Johnny (9) and James (7) live in Omro. John is also the owner of Fox Wireless located in downtown Omro.

FGC hits the Memorial Union Terrace at UW-Madison for a FREE SHOW on Saturday July 18, with special guests, The Bridge, opening the night. This is sure to be a fun night of music in one of Madison’s most beautiful settings, and we hope you can join us!
Also coming up in Wisconsin at the end of the month is The 3G’s Music Festival (aka Grateful Garcia Gathering) in Black River Falls. It’s the 6th annual celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and FGC will be headlining the festivities on Saturday August 1.
