Im a Producer/ Songwriter and Multi Instrumentalist. I play guitar, drumset, percussion, bass, keys, sing, engineer and tapdance (not really) - in fact - I played everything on the recordings your listening to right now in my lil room....like prince with less purple.
Here's a paragraph about the things I've done - aka - bio:
I grew up in Oswego, NY where I was a High school music major. I was in every school band/ orchestra there was on percussion, drumset and/or guitar. Also I was a college music major at OCC where my instrument was drumset. I soon went on the road with Toys in the Attic (Aerosmith Tribute) playing bass and then guitar for 3 years where we played at least 200 shows a year everywhere...I mean everywhere.. Then I got a call from a small record label in Tennessee called MCI Records to come play guitar in a traveling oldies group. I was 23 and had nothing to lose so I went. It was found out that I had engineering skills so I was planted in a studio where I recorded Gospel tunes for Kerry Lee Lewis, (wife of Jerry Lee) and a few kia motors commercials as well as music for the PBS special "Who Is Bobby Freeman". Go ahead and search for it... its not that good. I returned to NY in 1999 and joined forces with Sherry Snyder and Square Pegs playing guitar and crooning. In 2003 I started The Bufftones, an original punk pop band with Susan Royal, and Matt Zych - later replaced by Johnny Unconscious as we abbreviated our name to simply "The Tones". We went on to write and record a boatload of material and in 2005 our song "Heard It All B4" was released on WKRL K-rock stations statewide.
These days I reside in the Albany, NY region, and am a full time guitar teacher, producer, gigger, song-maker-upper type. Im always interested in producing or engineering a new project, or exploring some new musical endeavor. Don't be a stranger... at least... not as strange as me. ~D~
Groups I've worked with/ Produced/engineered:
Smocks Blues, Jacqui and the UFO's, Toys In The Attic, Square Pegs, The Tones, Merit (Aux Records), Bobby Freeman (MCI Records), Tsunami (Beyond Records), UVTV (Live Recording Post Production), Feeding Affliction, Kenny Daniels (Kenny and the Kasuals), Sharon Macphereson
