DYNAMIC LONDON MUSICIANS LAUNCH NEW ALBUM
The 'Dunamis Collective' is made up of 12 gifted musicians, singers, songwriters and producers. As well as working on their own projects, individual members have also performed with the likes of, Jamiroquai, Mica Paris, Basement Jaxx, Ms Dynamite, Puff Daddy and Natasha Beddingfield.
The resulting collision of creativity, talent and passion has combined to produce a unique and eclectic mix of R'n'B, Soul, Hip Hop and Jazz.
Multi-talented musician and group drummer Troy Miller recently released his debut album, '40 Days', to rave reviews. Still only in his mid-twenties, Troy 's growing reputation has already reached the other side of the Atlantic where he has toured extensively with legends such as Roy Ayers. He has also played with Jean Toussaint and has recently recorded a second album with rising UK Jazz and Rap star, Soweto Kinch.
Gwyn Allen, a gifted Jazz musician, has just finished touring Australia performing his 'I Love Louis' show, a tribute to the legendary Louis Armstrong. Gwyn has also performed with the likes of Jamiroquai and Basement Jaxx.
Lead vocalist Diana Stanbridge said, "We are really excited about the album launch and our forthcoming gig at Shepherds Bush. There is something for everyone on this album because of the sheer mix of musical styles. There's a real buzz among the band members and we know it is the start of something big."

The inspiration behind this song, I don’t even think it’s an inspiration but a sadness behind it, is the loss of my brother, Andile James Makiwne, who died in a car accident in April 2006. For a while after that, everything went blank for me, I couldn’t write music, I had no inspiration whatsoever and saw how hard it was for my mother to take the loss, and knowing that the relationship that I had with him will be no more.
I know that there are people who lost someone they loved through street crime, accidents, wars, and death as a whole that will relate to what I felt when I lost my brother. I kept this song to myself for years but hope this acoustic performance of it would touch someone.
