"The Dunderheids are an incredibly tight band with an incredibly mature approach to songwriting. The sound is chugging and surprisingly heavy, but also crisp thanks to the use of an electric double bass that is so proficient it makes one wonder why all bassists do not use a double bass, it just sounds better! The vocals are incredibly strong and confident and the band has the tunes to utilize these vocals perfectly. The Dunderheids may have been on second tonight, but they deliver a headlining performance".
Y Rock ABC2 gig
"Its quite refreshing to go to a gig expecting nothing and having your socks blown off. The Dunderheids are just such a show. They reminded me of 90’s rock stuff. Exactly what I'm into. So I wasnt surprised to see Pearl Jam and Tool amongst their influences. They don’t sound too close to any of their influences though and I’ll definately go see them again"

The Dunderheids love biogs. More than anything...
Well ok, they actually love slagging off Dave more. But which Dave I hear you ask? The bald one. Oh, look I've slagged him again. It's just TOO easy.
Although at gigs, its Orla that gets all the grief...mentions of potatoes, being picky eaters during the Famine, being a raving Tim, Irish leprecauns and the like are all directed at her..its all a bit obvious. Boring in fact. Ah, but the kids love it.
The band love (in no particular order); Chorr's sexy anorexic bass (although the golf bag that it gets carried around in is in no way sexy), Orla's second Tele (the first was nicked by someone who broke into my flat and probably sold to someone who can only play D and A- oh wait, sometimes that's what I play!!), Brian's ginormous cymbal (like it blocks out the sun sometimes, thats why we play at night), and Dave's Ebow (that thing squeals like Dave does)...
Come see us play live, chat to us, buy a USB mini-EP, tell Dave off for slaggin the Irish, buy a piece of the Dunders on Sellaband, listen to Jim Gellaty love us like you all should and then plan out your days before the album of the decade gets released...hopefully at the end of this year...
