Well we are looking to book another gig before the summer comes into full swing and we are going to record another EP with Bliss Is It Studios so stay tuned. 2/28/09 - Arlenes Grocery on March 28th... What more do I need to say? We will be giving out a limited of copies of our latest EP which was recorded, mixed and mastered at Bliss Is It Studios by Ian Bryn. We've got some new originals and a new cover for the show. There'll also be a couple of surprises so make sure you block off your calendars. In other news we've been writing some new material and plan on recording our 3rd EP sometime in June. This time around we also plan on filming our first music video which should be a blast. See you on the 28th and stay tuned for more DGs news coming soon.
1/6/09 - What's new bussycats? The DGs have been bussyly writing new songs and rehearsing for the past few months in order to get ready for some 2009 shows... 3/5/08 - With only 10 days left until our show at Arlenes we figured we would give you all a little update as to how things are going in DG world. We've written some new material (some of which you will hear on the 15th at Arlenes) that we will be recording the week after the Arlenes gig for the next DGs EP. Currently we're on the fence and fighting over what the title of the highly anticipated recording will be, but it is sure to be a doozy... We also are very proud to announce that our biggest fan Cleef Bulfman will be taking over promoting duties for the band as we move forward in 2008. You'll be hearing alot more from him on this page as the weeks go forward. We look forward to seeing you all on the 15th and keep a lookout for the new EP which will be coming out in the next month or so...
1/28/08 - Yes we're aware that its been a while since you've last heard from us... We've been busy with sideprojects that took up most of our time. Max Taco was busy laying tarp down on the set of www.2girls1cup.com and filming take after take until they finally got it right and by right I mean a nice softserve coil in a cup as opposed to a poma shake... JONK was busy brewing Galleary Mud at his new microbrewery... supposedly they have some secret ingredients in their stuff that makes it thrice as potent... you drink some of that shit and you're bound to get CLEEF'D... Badia opened up a Carwash in Texas and spent his free time grazing the plain with the local bison... after a crazy trip to Salt Lick however bread went a rye and he had to give up his quest of making it into the Bison Hall of Fame... GnawBone went on tour with Chris Burke and while in Witchita, Kansas ran into Michael Gough (the actor who played Alfred Pennyworth in 1989's smash hit movie "Batman") who told the GnawBone himself about many of the wonderful toys the cape crusader dawned that didn't make the final cut. Well its 2008 which is coincidentally THE YEAR OF THE BISON so what better way to start things off than with a show at our favorite NYC venue Arlenes Grocery on Saturday March 15th where we're set to debut a couple of brand new songs. The earlier you arrive the more time we will have to kick some back and share our woild tales from the past year with you...
