The Duplets are Fraya Thomsen and Gillian Fleetwood and they have been friends and harp buddies for a good long time.
As you can hear they play Scottish traditional music, songs and also their own compositions and do so with flair, energy and enthusiasm. They have been called "Two of Scotland's finest young players of the Scottish harp" by the Edinburgh International Harp Festival.
Their Debut album Tree of Strings is nearly ready and will be ready for released on the 25th of August!
Thank you, Gillian and Fraya. xxx
hello my dears, just downloaded your songs and I am enjoying your music now in a better quality. moved with my son (8) to the countryside into an old farmhouse with 8 adults and three kids, cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, geese ... its not far from hamburg. come to play here, to accomodate you would be a REAL pleasure for me and us. hm? brilliant idea you say? you are sooooooo right. check your calendar! free hugs, hardy.
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
