    Known for their deep lyrical themes, rich harmony, and clever melodic concepts, The Dylan Emmet Band's mosaic of pop, jam, soul, and hip-hop music is bringing something truly different to the table. Formed by singer/songwriter Dylan Emmet in 2009, the band has since been pushing forward and making a name for themselves within the New York tri-state area.

 While recording their first album in 09-10, Select tracks were sent to The Songcircle Music Group to be entered in a songwriting contest. The tracks caught the eye of the 2010 Song Circle Music Songwriting contest and were awarded honorable mention. Dylan was then invited to The Bitter End in New York City to play an acoustic set at one of their showcases. Two months later at The Bitter End, the debut album release party was held. January of 2010 saw the completion of "Lost In Transit, Lost In Translation." This album has tracks on it that were written many years before the band officially formed, while Dylan was just a solo musician. They were then polished and arranged to be played and recorded in a band setting. The band continued honing their live sound, playing all over the tri-state area while promoting the first record, and recording the second.

 Dylan was introduced to producer Tom Rosato through his guitar teacher, Raphael Garritano. Dylan and Tom teamed up and produced the band's second release; an 6 track EP entitled: "Collide." The EP was released online for free download. With the release of the EP saw a new line up for the band. Steve Olenski joined on drums in December 2009 and eventually brought along friend Ben Basile on Bass in March 2010.

 The "Collide" album release show was in July 2010. The Dylan Emmet Band invited a few extra guest musicians to perform for the occasion; one of which was Eleni Reyes. On Violin and Vocals, Eleni's Performance won here a spot in the band. Eleni officially joined The Dylan Emmet Band in September 2011. 

 The DEB is performing regularly all over the New York/Tri-State area and currently recording their third record "The Here And Now." At the moment their music is in development to be featured in TV commercials and network shows. Keep an eye for The Dylan Emmet Band... For they soon will become a household name.
