Yeah, so the dymaxions were a montreal/guelph based rock band active from 2003-2006. Their first and only record "how the sick may help themselves" (2005) is still available at CD BABY (hard copy), as well as from iTunes or Emusic in digital form.
Please come out and support Makeshift and Buda one last time!
Over the last couple of years, they have helped keep the Ska scene alive in Toronto, and for that, they will be greatly missed.
Bands will come and go, but Toronto will keep on skanking and never forget the great bands that have graced our local stages.
Makeshift Heroes and Buda Funk Munk, Skank in peace.
Tim: Sarah C loved your show in Kitchener and was incredibly shocked to see you. She was just giddy telling me about it! Anyway, I bought your CD online and its great. I'm really glad things are going well...we always wondered what happened to you! Cheers,
Lisa
Ottawa loves you!!
I saw you in Ottawa the 22nd and that was such an amazing show, I had to buy your CD right away. You should come to Ottawa again, because we love you too much. At first people didnt know who you were and after each song you could hear the audience clapping and screaming more each time.
I was quite impressed with your show the other day at the Starlight in Waterloo.
So much that I wish you had headlined the show... but now disrespect to Islands.
