The Earps are proud to announce
the release of their debut album, “Here
Come The Earps!”, on Big
Bender Records. The album is an eleven-song collection of songs ranging from
good time shitkickin’ rock anthems to Bakersfield honky tonk, with traces of southern
rock, and rockabilly. The band was named after sibling gunfighters made famous
in the Arizona Territory, circa 1880s. The Earps were formed in Seattle when singer-guitarist
HotWheels McGregor met drummer Marvelous Matt Maverick after leaving Seattle via
Austin-based rock band Shinola. After relocating to Phoenix, they were joined
by an Oklahoma native nicknamed Ump who gives The Earps their signature heavy
metal twang from his hot-rodded Telecaster.
Holding down the low end is Kentucky-bred Buckshot George who also doubles the
four-string duty for The
Jeff Dahl Band. The Earps have a local Arizona following, a regional Southwest
touring circuit and have played with Nashville
Pussy, Gilby
Clarke, Honky
and Bang
Tango. The band also performed at Desert Trash Blast and Scottsdale Ultimate
Block Party in 2006. Their highly entertaining live show falls somewhere between
Vaudeville, glam rock or an R-Rated episode of Hee Haw. The music of The Earps
will appeal to fans of The
Georgia Satellites, Nine
Pound Hammer, Jason
& The Scorchers, Dwight
Yoakam and mid-1980s metal.

Ed Hardy himself? ...or the people that ruined his respectable tattoo work by putting his designs on everything under the sun and adding ridiculous crystals and seqiuns to it?
