Magnetically connected together through various freestyle sessions waay back during the Motorola Ultra Express pager days, Verb-1 and L-E-N shared a common influence in hiphop music, and grew together as songwriters. Since the debut of their underground, self distributed album in 2003 titled "Evolve, Cultivate, and Progress", The EarthTones have performed in various venues and colleges all accross the Bay Area, and caused a slight street buzz throughout the world wide web.
