About me:

THE EAST END FILM FESTIVAL 2008 Official Program!
Thursday 17 April – Thursday 24 April 2008

Adolescent alienation, East European oestrogen, an audience with acclaimed composer Michael Nyman, and a showcase of films starring hot young actress Ellen Page… just some of the highlights of this year’s East End FIlm Festival.

Within our three main strands (Teenagers of the World Unite... And Take Over!, East Meets East and New British / East End Life) we’ve got UK and London premieres aplenty, including the celebrated Polish film LEJDIS (LADIES), and the much anticipated UK documentary WE DREAMED AMERICA.

There’s also an array of shorts screenings, competitions, discussions and performances, along with a ’lecture’ (of sorts!) from award winning comedy duo Noble and Silver.
