The Eastern Sky consists of songwriters Ross Mulder and Vinnie Adams, who began writing worship music back in Feburary of 07. Luke Otten joined the group when they first decided to record a song (Be Real) in March. Jordan Voskuil joined the group shortly after that playing some keys. Together, those 4 went to the same studio Be Real was recorded in to lay down 10 more tracks to complete their first album, "Hear the Praise." The album has been a work in progress since and is expected to be complete by the end of October 07.

50% of all Eastern Sky profits go to an organization called "Tesoros de Dios," which is a school for children with special needs in the country of Nicaragua. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the western hemisphere and is full of orphaned children, many of whom have been abandoned because of their disablities. Tesoros de Dios (Treasures of God) brings children with disabilities, in the country of Nicaragua, phyical therapy, education, and, above all, the love of Jesus Christ. Each one of these children is truly a special treasure of our loving Father.
