A five piece Rock Machine hailing from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The band's musical roots range from the heaviest of metal to the straw hattiest of folk music... and it shows!! These influences bare themselves in the bones that frame this musical behemoth know as The Easy Bleeders. Whether it be a ground shaking, string breaking howler or a foot stompin', hand clapping sing along, their live shows are gritty, sweaty and full of raw energy. If you have seen one of their shows you probably walked in a stranger and left with a whole new group of friends, and maybe some minor cuts and bruises as-well. Someone once said "It's like going to a Cape Breton kitchen party that your parents weren't invited to". Some songs will rock you, others will haunt you and some are so infectious that you can't help but move. With such a wide range of musical tastes and flavors, when it comes to song writing they deliver more variety then Baskin Robbins .... and lamer jokes then your great grand daddy.
The band consists of brothers Grant and Brent Carabin, Garett Lahey, Matt Fahey and Shaun Robson. Five young men brought together by some force unknown, blood brothers for life, rockin' and writing till the end of their days. Bleed Life, Bleed Love, Bleed Easy!
The Easy Bleeders' self titled debut album consists of 11 tasty tracks, with each band member adding their own flavor to every song. These boys were lucky enough to record at a handful of studios province wide. Songs on the album were recorded by The Easy Bleeders' own Shaun Robson (at MacKenzie College), the famed Jamie Foulds (Soundpark Studios), "Total Joe" McInnis & his fellow students (The Sonic Temple), and Mark Scott (Smashbox Studios). "Our goal was to take the energy of our live show, bottle it up, and start a chug train! Cheers! Oh, and while you're chugging, don't forget to Ride That Taste!" - The Easy Bleeders.
Great show last night, it was awesome getting to meet and play with ya. We'd love to have you again in Moncton anytime, and likewise we'll see you guys in Sydney sooner than later...
