Through many lineup changes Fatbird remains the stalwart of the group,and it is his songwriting and advocacy for the simple island lifestyle that serve as the guiding philosophy for the band.Of mixed pacific islander and american heritage, Fatbird straddles the line and borrows from both cultures and concocts a driving but sweet assault.He is accompanied on bass by geologist Daisy Finch(she who makes the earth move unda ya feet) and on the drums by fresh koko rick bodinus,who brings a much needed backbeat to the sound.MTMS(keyboards)who sometimes performs with fatbird as kargokult joins on as an auxillery.Bluntsmoke Simmons stays on as storyteller and right hand man.EAZY ohana rejoice,still yet we ride.
