Paul had these songs and was looking to record. He saw and online ad that Chad wrote and he replied back. Chad checked out the songs and said "sure" and they started playing. It went well... Then Chad said, "Oh I know this bassplayer" and Eric came over. Paul said "sure"... and there you have it.
We learned about 10 songs and then went to Echoes Recording Studio in September 07 to record the first album. Soon after that, we played our first show.
Babies became the next thing on the horizion for Chad and Eric with Chad's daughter being born in November and Eric's (third!) Son in January. We played our 2nd show in April 2008.
After the show it became obvious that with three small children, that Eric was gonna have to focus his attentions on his family and so Chad and Paul moved on without Eric.
An old friend of Paul's, Drew (Noetic Pull) said he'd like to play bass... and the three began jamming around the end of April...
No shows have been played since that April show with Eric - and we're still alive (kinda). For a while, the focus was to get our shit together and play out - but things don't alway work out the way we planned now do they?
The push to play shows was not natural and was causing conflict. The main reason why we play music was to have fun... and that was getting lost. Around Thanksgiving (2008) we took a break - till about February (2009) and when we returned it was back to our original line-up and we couldn't be happier!
Now we could tell you a thousand tales of the epic struggle of small town musicians (and most would be true). but it's just really 3 guys playing Rock and Roll...
every now and then i pop out to stonewalls in sheptown sunday nights, i'll let you know when i make it out next, maybe you can swing by. i'll bring a few bucks... seeya!
